COMPLACENCY
There is no such thing has cold: it only exit because of the absence of heat.
There is no such thing as darkness: it only exists because of the absence of light.
Therefore, there is only hate because of the absence of love and there is only evil because of the absence of good.
An ever-increasing coldness is prevalent in man. It is a coldness manifested in the emotional, psychological and physical realms. The coldness, fear and evil of this world reigns because we the saints have given it power because of our complacency, our division, our lack of truth and our inability to bring the light, warmth and love of the Father into the world.
As we move closer to the Lord and walk deeper in His Spirit, then His fire, His light, His love and His life will drive away darkness and set the captives free. Let us be reminded of Isaiah 61 for we have all been called to preach the gospel, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and through His Spirit bring hope, praise, joy and gladness to those stricken and grieved by this world.
Shall we tarry in our complacency?
